Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how the IDOLYN app handles data.

2. Principle

IDOLYN can be used without an account and without signing in. We collect as little data as possible ourselves. Certain data may be processed by third parties (see below).

3. Data that may be processed

• Device information (e.g. device type, operating system)
• Anonymous usage and crash data
• Advertising identifier (for personalized or non-personalized ads)
• In-app purchase information (handled by Apple)
• If you optionally sign in: your email address to sync your favorites across devices

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

IDOLYN uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google may process data for this purpose. Premium removes ads. More info: policies.google.com/privacy

5. Subscriptions (RevenueCat / Apple)

Premium subscriptions are processed via the Apple App Store; we use the service RevenueCat to manage entitlements. We do not receive any payment or credit card data.

6. Account & Sync (optional)

If you choose to sign in, we store your email address and your followed idols/favorites on servers of our provider (Supabase) to sync them across devices. Signing in is not required to use the app.

7. News content

News is sourced from publicly available third-party sources (e.g. Soompi, Koreaboo). When you open external links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

8. External links

The app links to external platforms (e.g. Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube). The respective provider is responsible for their data processing.

9. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure and objection. Contact contact [at] idolyn [dot] app.

10. Updates

This policy may be updated. The version available in the app and on this page applies.
